The Association of Film Commissioners International (AFCI) today announced its partnership with Lightsource Asia Media Group for the 32nd annual AFCI Locations, Global Production & Finance Conference, Thursday, April 6 – Saturday, April 8, 2017 at the Marriott Burbank and Convention Center.
Comprised of the Global Production & Finance Conference managed by Lightsource, April 6-7 and the AFCI Locations Show, April 6-8. The AFCI Locations Conference is the international marketplace for locations, filmmakers and producers hosted in Los Angeles, the world’s largest production center. Early-bird registration opens January 31 – March 13.
The Conference features global finance leaders presenting co-production opportunities, national film funds and private capital from both the financial and media production communities. The corresponding Locations Show provides direct access between media content producers and more than 80 AFCI Film Commission Members and dozens of service industry partners exhibiting from more than 30 countries.
In 2016 Lightsource Partners, Rick Ambros, (who is also Partner at Benchmark Studios, Mumbai) and Rob Cain (also President, Pacific Bridge Pictures in Los Angeles) presented and moderated the India and China Global Production & Finance Conference panels.
