Here is Where to Catch Free Outdoor Movies in Metro Atlanta This Summer

Ready for a fun summer activity? Why not catch a free outdoor movie with your friends? All summer long, Georgia will have free movies throughout the state! So check out this list for movie and location information.

Atlantic Station (Atlanta)

This is always a great place to go for eating, shopping, and seeing a movie. But every Thursday evening, Central Park turns into an outdoor movie theater.

  • June 8: The Fugitive
  • June 15: The Little Rascals
  • June 22: Sabrina
  • June 29: Twister
  • July 6: As Good As It Gets
  • July 13: Pleasantville
  • July 20: 10 Things I Hate About You
  • August 2: Miss Congeniality

The Avenue at Peachtree City

This is a very family-friendly venue that has tons of fun activities including face painting, bounce houses, popcorn and giveaways! Be sure to get there by 6 PM, when the movie starts on these dates.

  • June 26: The Secret Life of Pets 
  • July 10: Moana
  • July 24: Storks

B at the Movies (Various Locations)

B98.5 is hosting B at the Movies at several locations in throughout the summer. So get ready for the movie event that’s closest to you.

  • June 17: Sing at Taylor Farms Park, Powder Springs
  • June 24: The Secret Life of Pets (pets are welcome) at Glenloch Recreation Center, Peachtree City
  • July 8: The Lego Batman Movie at Lillian Webb Park, Norcross
  • July 15: Finding Dory at Riverside Park, Roswell
  • July 22: The Lego Batman Movie/Captain America: Civil War at Suwanee Town Center Park, Suwanee
  • July 29: Moana at Custer Park, Marietta

Town Brookhaven

On Thursday nights at dusk, Town Brookhaven will be hosting their outdoor movie event. They have a great lineup to check out kicking off June 8!

  • June 22: Legally Blonde
  • June 29: Rudy
  • July 13: The Lego Batman Movie
  • July 20: Hidden Figures
  • July 27: La La Land

Duluth Town Square

This is a great area for family and friends to enjoy a variety of yummy food at Food Truck Friday’s and then catch an outdoor movie. This summer’s lineup includes:

  • July 7: Alice Through the Looking Glass
  • August 4: Moana
  • September 1: Rogue One

Flicks at Tech (Atlanta)

This summer, Georgia Tech will be hosting free outdoor screenings that are open to the public.

Flick-Nic at Candler Park (Atlanta)

  • August 5: Sing
  • August 19: The Jungle Book
  • September 9: Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens

Mall of Georgia (Buford)
