Back2Business Conference, Doing Business With Film/TV Panel


Next week marks the 6th annual Back2Business Conference Atlanta City Council President Ceasar Mitchell organizes. This year the evening of August 9 is dedicated to doing business with the emerging film and television industry in the Atlanta region. The session entitled ‘Plugging Into Business Opportunities In The Movie & TV Industry’ includes

• Roger M. Bobb – President and CEO, Bobbcat Films

• Lee Thomas – Deputy Commissioner, Georgia Film, Music & Digital Entertainment Office

• Chris Hicks – Director, City of Atlanta Office of Film & Entertainment

• Michael Campbell – President and CEO of Black on Purpose Television Network

• Kris Bagwell – Executive Vice President, EUE / Screen Gems LTD (Moderator)

This should be an informative and lively panel discussion about how local businesses can benefit from the production boom, and what we can do to create a sustainable creative infrastructure independent of tax credits.
