GPP to hold meeting in Augusta

This meeting is free to attend, and is open to anyone in or near the Columbia County and Augusta areas.

Program Overview:

  • Introduction to Georgia Production Partnership, a nonprofit coalition of individuals and companies who are active in the state’s film, television, music and digital entertainment industries.
  • More information on the how the state’s Camera Ready Program is used by film and television companies from Shanghai to Los Angeles to research locations and crews available in Georgia.

Robert (Robbie) Bennett, MPA, CECD, Executive Director of the Development Authority of Columbia County and Jennifer Bowen, Film Liaison with Film Augusta will be our featured guests.

Robbie and Jennifer are the state’s Camera Ready representatives in Columbia & Richmond counties respectively. They will be giving an overview of how the the state’s Camera Ready film program works, including insight into the Film Office resources ReelScout and ReelCrew that are used by communities across the state to ensure that they are well-represented in the location and crew process.
