Super League Gaming expands to Atlanta

Amateur esports event organizer Super League Gaming has added four more cities to its national league system.

To fill out its 16-city field, Super League Gaming has added teams in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Atlanta, Georgia, Washington D.C., and Tampa, Florida.

In June, Super League Gaming closed a $15 million Series C funding round with investments coming from the likes of Nickelodeon, DMG Entertainment, and Tampa Bay Lightning owner Jeffrey Vinik. Now the city of Tampa will have its very own team in SLG events, including the League of Legends City Championships.
