FX Networks nixed its animated Marvel “Deadpool” action-comedy series, according to Deadline.
The series, from FX “Atlanta” creator, executive producer and star Donald Glover and his brother Stephen Glover, reportedly had been in production in Georgia.
The series received a 10-episode straight-to-series order last year.
“Due to creative differences, FX, Donald Glover, Stephen Glover and Marvel Television have agreed to part ways on Marvel’s Deadpool animated series,” FX said in a statement March 24. “FX will no longer be involved with the project. FX and Marvel have an ongoing relationship through our partnership on Legion, which will continue.”
