An event honoring the sixth anniversary of The Muriel Moore/Danny Nelson Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA) Conservatory will take place May 7 from 7 to 10 p.m. at Wieuca Road Baptist Church in Buckhead.
The conservatory is an offshoot of the SAG-AFTRA’s Atlanta union. The event will include a panel discussion with six industry experts: actor Ric Reitz, president of Atlanta SAG-AFTRA; legendary casting director/producer Shay Bentley-Griffin; Atlanta agents Rona Burns, owner of the Burns Agency, and Sarah Carpenter, owner of Atlanta Models and Talent; and veteran actors E. Roger Mitchell and Selena Anduze. It will be moderated by actor Clayton Landey, second vice president of the Atlanta union and chair of the conservatory.
Landey said individuals attending the event will hear all about the TV/film industry and the union’s role in it.
