On Wednesday night, a capacity crowd gathered at Moonshine Post-Production for the Georgia Entertainment 102 event. It was an evening of networking and also a time to celebrate Georgia’s dynamic entertainment industry.
Lawmakers, producers, directors, investors, creators and other industry professionals mixed and mingled in a controlled environment with exceptional food provided by Grecian Gyro.
Sprinkled throughout the time of networking were brief but powerful presentations from
- Asante Bradford, Georgia Department of Economic Development
- Drew Sawyer, Moonshine Post-Production
- Chris LeDoux, Crafty Apes
- Stephen Weizenecker, partner at Barnes & Thornburg
- Jim Stone, Tytan Pictures,
- Charles Bowen, entertainment attorney based in Savannah
In addition to the presentations and networking, special recognition was given to Atlanta-based nonprofit re:imagine/ATL. Founder and Executive Director Susanna Spiccia was on hand to speak about re:imagine/ATL’s mission to connect youth with resources and mentorship to amplify their voices in media.
Special thanks was expressed to the partners: Monarch Private Capital, Creative Financial Group, Sapelo Insurance, Grecian Gyro, Crafty Apes, Tytan Pictures, Exchange, Paradigm Security, Endeavor Sound, Atlanta Movie Tours, and Moonshine Post.
