Prominence Films is excited to share some of what they’ve been up to recently. They are working on a long-term project to help grow a solid film industry in the Southeast.
Their focus is on getting Development and Distribution to happen here in Atlanta so they have roots, with or without an incentive. FilmTown will be a creative content market focused on bringing buyers, sellers, and executives to Atlanta in the Spring of 2019 to help Southeastern filmmakers make relationships with the people investing in and buying//distributing original content.
They’re an ally to filmmakers, film festivals, and other film cities, and they hope to promote the fresh and unique voices and stories from our beloved Southeast. This is the long-game and they are excited to be able to involve our industry circle.
Here are some cool (FREE) events they are doing in partnership with the amazing team at Seed&Spark. They are doing so much to create an avenue for storytellers to raise funds and make the content that is important to them. You can meet them and absorb their knowledge next week! They start out with a fun mix-and-mingle next Wednesday and follow it up with really beneficial workshops on Thursday including an amazing panel of writers and industry professionals.
Here’s all the info to reserve your spot! (There’s a limited number so please RSVP if you want to attend.)
