When Matt Chastain and his family began attending small group at Watkinsville First Baptist Church, he knew there was a story in the experience—a movie, to be more precise.
“I remember in the first meeting, we were getting into it, really digging deeper into the Gospel and into our own lives, sharing about ourselves and each others’ struggles,” said Chastain, reflecting on the first meeting he had with his church small group around four years ago. “It like felt so much more of a real, raw faith experience than I’d experienced before. It hit me: this is an incredible environment for storytelling.”
At the time, Chastain co-owned his own marketing company and specialized in writing and directing promotional videos and TV commercials.
