The High Museum of Art has launched a new monthly film series in collaboration with Atlanta’s Film Love.
Film Love has been offering Atlanta glimpses at rare and unique cinema for nearly 20 years, and has worked to highlight the relationship between film and visual art through events and public screenings, according to program materials. The group’s partnership with the High will expand those efforts.
“The Museum is thrilled to introduce this new series with Film Love,” Erin Dougherty, head of public programs and community engagement at the High, said in a statement. “Film Love has been highly influential in celebrating the diversity of cinema and expanding the Atlanta community’s perception of film as an art form. We look forward to seeing how our visitors respond to the series and how it builds on their experiences at the museum.”
