If you’ve been waiting for the sequel to the 2016 film “Suicide Squad,” your wait is almost over. A new rendition of the film is set to begin filming in Atlanta.
James Gunn, director of “Guardians of the Galaxy,” will write and direct the new film, which is rumored to be a complete reboot of the franchise. However, details of the plot are limited. The production will film in Georgia for three weeks before moving to Panama for additional filming. It will feature several characters from the 2016 version as well as a few new faces.
